General Conference October 2018 Quotes and Printables

October came to a close so quickly! This post won’t be as long as I would like, but I’ll add to it when I have some more time. (Let me know if there are any quotes you’d like me to include down in the comments.)

My favorite thing about October is General Conference, a two-day event when members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints  join together to listen to living prophets and apostles.

I quote and link to words from the apostles all the time. This post for example, or this post, or this one… you get the idea. I love General Conference.

The knowledge that God still speaks bolsters my faith. There is a Father in Heaven who hears and answers prayers, and there are men and women here on earth actively furthering the work of the Lord. Revelation didn’t end with the Bible. We can receive relevant and current direction and guidance for our day, for this moment in history, for our lives right now. Isn’t that incredible!?

I always have prayers answered when I listen to the addresses given at General Conference. There are words that touch my heart, and that I know are meant for me.

As October passes, I find it so important to keep those words fresh in my mind, and to continually review, reread, and study out what else the Lord would have me learn.

One way I accomplish this is by putting up quotes where I can see them, whether that be around my home, or on my phone.

I’ve prepared a few printables (or pin-ables) so you can do the same!

Tell me your favorite quotes from this General Conference, and I can try to add them to the collection –

Dieter F. Uchtdorf – “Believe, Love, Do”

General Conference Quote - "May I suggest that discipleship begins with three simple words: Believe, love, and do." Dieter F. Uchtdorf
General Conference Quote - "In my experience, belief is not so much like a painting we look at and admire and about which we discuss and theorize. It is more like a plow that we take into the fields and, by the sweat of our brow, create furrows in the earth that accept seeds and bear fruit that shall remain." Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Ronald A. Rasband – “Be Not Troubled”

General Conference Quote - "Our love of God counters all fears, and His love abounds in holy places". Ronald A. Rasband

Henry B. Eyring – “Women and Gospel Learning in the Home”
